Labuan e-Journal of Muamalat and Society (LJMS) is the first online refereed journal introduced by the Labuan School of International Business and Finance, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. The aims of this journal are two fold. First, it provides forum for researchers and practitioners in delivering their views and opinions in documented form, which is in the form of online publication. Second, it plans to disseminate the current issues in the area of finance, banking, economics, Islamic banking and other related areas.

The Journal is also provided a platform for researchers, lecturers and practitioners to publish their work. This online publication is also important in enhancing the quality of works by many individuals. As such, the Journal provides an open access articles that will be able to promote researchers and practitioners work. All in all, the Journal is an online refereed journal committed to publishing scholarly works using multidisciplinary approaches with a strong emphasis on business and economics.

The Journal welcomes particularly papers with strong theoretical and empirical foundations. It publishes articles on an annual basis. Not to mention, I challenge you to publish in the Journal.
